Here are some ways in which you can assist us as we reach out to help others in Jesus' name.

Helping people in need

Locally — New Life gives 10 percent of our offering to help people through specific causes and missions. We help people in need of food and clothing by donating items to Cross-Lines Cooperative Council Inc. on the first Sunday of each month. We provide a safe, structured environment for neighborhood youth one night a week — encouging each teen personally while also sharing examples of how a relationship with God can lift up their lives every day. Each fall our youth give back by walking door-to-door distributing smoke alarm batteries and encouraging our neighbors to stay safe.

Regionally — Folks from New Life travelled to Mississippi in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina to help people clean debris and repair their storm-damaged homes. Others have rolled up their sleeves to help families at an impoverished Indian reservation by repairing their roofs and nurturing their children through a fun week of Vacation Bible School.

Globally — Several people from our church family have travelled to both Mexico and Ecuador on work trips to support needy families. Part of our offering regularly goes to support missionaries Don and Chris Smith in Kenya. Half the population of this African country lives below the poverty, and the life expectancy is only 45 years. The Smiths train people to minister to others through the Kima International School of Theology.

Praying for people
He's already moved mountains and parted seas, so we know that God is able to do anything. God hears all, and so much more so when we pray together. Let us pray for you or those who you know are in need ... whether for comfort, healing, hope, direction, work, faith, love or whatever the need is.

You're welcome to join us during group prayer before each service, drop a prayer request into the offering plate, we'll pray with you at the alters at the end of each service, or even call or email us your prayer requests.
